Harry Roque can’t take Covid-19 vaccine yet

By Prince Golez

Palace Spokesman Harry Roque should wait 90 days to get a coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine as he previously tested positive for the virus.

Roque in an interview over ANC’s “Headstart” said he signed up for a Covid-19 vaccine last Sunday because he has comorbidities.

In the government’s priority list for vaccination, people aged 18 to 59 years fall under the A3 category.

“The lady who processed me said ‘we know you had COVID.’ Because I have comorbidities ‘no, so I scheduled and I went there, I was given a slot, but because I tested positive, she said you have to wait 90 days before you are vaccinated,” according to the Palace official.

“I was very impressed, this was at the Emilio Aguinaldo Elementary School in Murphy, Quezon City and I would like to thank the doctors there, but they did not give me my vaccination because they reminded me as a positive or someone who tested positive, I need to wait 90 days before I could get my vaccination,” he added.

On March 15, Roque announced that he contracted Covid-19 and was isolated for 10 days at the Summit Hotel Oplan Kalinga Isolation Center in San Juan City.
