The House of Representatives will suspend work at the Batasang Pambansa next week ahead of the resumption of sessions on May 17.
Based on the memorandum issued by House Secretary General Mark Llandro Mendoza, work will be suspended from May 10 to 14 “to give way to the preparation for the resumption of sessions.”
The entire House of Representatives Complex will be disinfected, the memorandum read.
Congress will resume its session on May 17 until June 4.
Speaker Lord Allan Jay Velasco earlier said that the House will prioritize the passage of Bayanihan to Arise As One or Bayanihan 3 when session resumes.
