If a photo is worth a thousand words, Miss Grand International 2020 first runner-up Samantha Bernardo appears to be sending a strong message with the glam shots she recently shared online.
Photos posted on Bernardo’s official Facebook page showed snaps of her visit to the Philippine Embassy in Thailand. What caught netizens’ eyes are the styling and cropping of the images.
Most of the photos showed Bernardo, who wore a yellow gown, posing in front of an official portrait of Vice President Leni Robredo. Another photo showed the portrait of President Rodrigo Duterte was cropped out, with only his right arm in the frame.
Netizens believe Duterte’s photo was intentionally cropped out of Bernardo’s picture.

Netizen Jefferson Estela said: “I stan a queen who knows how to crop photos. Yes, VP LEN I AND QUEEN SAM!”

“The Two Empowered and Phenomenal Women in one frame. Yung nahati, never mind nalang.The photographer really did know how to crop crap,” said netizen Kevin Gauran Francisco.
