The Supreme Court (SC) has secured an isolation facility for employees of the Judiciary in the National Capital Region (NCR) and nearby regions who will get infected with the COVID-19 virus.
The SC Public Information Office (SCPIO) said the high tribunal has partnered with the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) and the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) for the use of the DLS-CSB facility for Judiciary employees working within the :”NCR bubble” which includes Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal.
“The PRC will manage the facility and implement stringent guidelines and regulations which will be provided upon admission, for the protection and well-being of admitted patients and staff,” the SCPIO said.
“The SC will follow and comply with these regulations,” it added.
The SCPIO noted a floor of the facility which can accommodate 50 persons is exclusive to Judiciary employees.
“The facility will only accept patients from the Judiciary if they are referred by the SC Medical and Dental Services (SC-MDS) as confirmed COVID-19 positive who are asymptomatic or mild asymptomatic and they are indorsed or certified as employees of the Judiciary working in the ‘NCR Plus’ bubble by the Office of the Court Administrator (OCA),” the SCPIO said.
“The availment and use of the facility shall be on a ‘first come, first served’ basis due to the limited capacity in the capacity. No walk ins shall be allowed. Likewise, no visitors shall be allowed to enter the PRC isolation facility. All concerns shall be coursed through the OCA and the SC-MDS,” it added.
