President Rodrigo Duterte is wishing for good weather and “political weather” in the days to come.
“Let us pray that the weather, the political weather and the weather of climate change will be kind to us,” Duterte said in his taped briefing aired late Sunday night.
Duterte is scheduled to deliver his last and final State of the Nation Address tomorrow, July 26.
He earlier hinted that he might seek the vice presidency in 2022 to gain immunity from suit.
His daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte is considered a frontrunner in the presidential race.
