Speaker Lord Allan Jay Velasco on Monday gave the Duterte administration a grade of 8.
Velasco said he wanted Duterte to continue serving in the government to continue what his good performance, the reason why he is supporting his possible run for vice president in next year’s election.
“I describe the leadership of President Duterte as doing a job well done,” Velasco said.
He added that the Duterte administration “is not a perfect administration” but has accomplished a lot.
“Looking at the free tertiary education have you imagine the country having free tertiary education. As to the free irrigation law have you ever imagine having free irrigation. Looking at the universal health care law have you ever imagine our kababayans not paying so much money in the hospitals. If we are also looking at also the CREATE, the FIST law all that the administration has accomplished definitely you can give them ah… like what I said the grade that I’m giving the administration is a grade of 8,” Velasco added.
