Duterte mocks mayor’s ‘call boy’ image: ‘Iyan ang training ng presidente’

President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday slammed an unnamed local chief executive for his sexy photos online and disorderly Covid-19 pandemic response.

Although Duterte did not mention Manila Mayor Isko Moreno by name, the actor-turned-politician had photos – which can be accessed via the Internet – of him in swimwear.

“Nakita ko nga sa Facebook kanina, lahat nang naka-bikini ang g*** tapos may isang picture pa doon na sinisilip niya ‘yung ari niya. Iyan ang gusto ninyo? Ang training parang call boy,” the President said during his weekly televised address.

Before he joined politics, Moreno entered the world of show business and was a mainstay of “That’s Entertainment,” the late afternoon teen variety show hosted by talent discoverer German “Kuya Germs” Moreno.

“Ayan tingnan ninyo sa Facebook, nandiyan. Nandiyan ‘yung mga picture niya… Iyan ang training ng presidente, maghubad at magpa-picture at magsilip, magyabang sa kanilang ari kagaya ni (Jim) Paredes pati itong g***** ito,” said Duterte, referring to the APO Hiking Society singer whose scandal video went viral in 2019.

Moreno has not ruled out running for president in 2022.
