Trillanes on ICC probe: Prison imminent for Duterte and cohorts

Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV has welcomed the International Criminal Court’s decision to launch an investigation into the killings linked to war on drugs in the Philippines.

Trillanes, in a post on Twitter, said the ICC investigation spells not only imminent justice for the victims but also prison term for President Duterte.

“On the ICC commencement of Investigation: To the families of the EJK victims, this is another step closer to attaining Justice for your loved ones. To duterte and his cohorts, this is another step closer to prison,” he tweeted on Sept. 15, 2021.
