Countries under green, yellow, and red list until Nov. 15

Passengers from Latvia will be prohibited from entering the Philippines from November 1 until November 15.

The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases added the European country to its “red list” or classified as “high risk” for Covid-19.

Meanwhile, countries and jurisdictions on the “green list” are Algeria, American Samoa, Bhutan, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, China (Mainland), Comoros, Cook Islands, Eritrea, Falkland Islands (Malvinas), Hong Kong, Kiribati, Madagascar, Mali, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Montserrat, and Nauru.

New Zealand, Nicaragua, Niger, Niue, North Korea, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Poland, Saba (Special Municipality of the Kingdom of Netherlands), Saint Helena, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Samoa, Sierra Leone, Sint Eustatius, Solomon Islands, Sudan, Syria, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Tokelau, Tonga, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, and Yemen are also considered “low risk” for Covid-19

All other countries/jurisdictions/territories not mentioned are classified as “yellow list” (moderate risk).

The testing and quarantine protocols for Green List are as follows:

-Fully vaccinated Filipinos are required to undergo facility-based quarantine until the release of their negative RT-PCR test result

-No facility-based quarantine will be required for those with a negative RT-PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to departure from the country of origin.

-For unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals, they will undergo a facility-based quarantine until the release of a negative RT-PCR test taken on the fifth day. In the case of foreign nationals, they must secure hotel reservations for at least six days.

-For unvaccinated or partially vaccinated minors, a parent/guardian should accompany them in the quarantine facility for the duration of the facility-based quarantine.
