In the age of Zoom, this presidential aspirant is not about to spend a fortune to make his home office fancy or impressive to others.
Labor leader Leody de Guzman keeps his Zoom station simple while working at home during the pandemic. De Guzman, one of the presidential contenders in the 2022 elections, showed on Twitter a snapshot of his workspace enough to get the job done.
“At dahil palaging cabinet yung nakikita sa mga Zoom interviews ko, pakita ko naman yung workstation ko mula sa POV ko,” he wrote on Facebook.
De Guzman turned a small space in the house into his workstation. His workspace included a wooden desk, a plastic chair with a seat cushion, an electric fan, a lamp, a laptop, and a phone stand.

If he is not busy with online meetings and media interviews, De Guzman works as a textile cutter in his wife’s small business. This has been his work for the past 13 years.
“Huwag ikahiya ang pagiging manggagawa. Marangal na paggawa kaysa magnakaw at manloko ng kababayan,” he said.
