Palace hails Carlo Yulo’s double medal finish at Gymnastics World Championships

Malacañang on Monday congratulated Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo for his recent achievement in this year’s 50th FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships held in Kitakyushu, Japan.

Yulo bagged the gold medal in the men’s vault and captured silver in the parallel bars event during the 2021 World Championships.

“Magandang balita. Binabati po namin si Carlos Yulo sa kanyang nasungkit na gintong medalya sa men’s vault at silver medal sa parallel bars event sa 50th FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championship sa Japan,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a virtual presser.

“Congratulations. Patunay ito ng galing ng atletang Pilipino,” added Roque.

To recall, Yulo also won the gold medal in the men’s floor exercise finals and the bronze medal in the men’s floor exercise finals in 2019 and 2018, respectively.
