Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte Carpio is singing praises for her favorite Filipino designer.

Mayor Sara recently slayed in pink and turquoise dresses designed by Silverio Anglacer during her weekend trip to Cebu province. Anglacer, a fashion designer based in Davao City, adores the mayor who pulls off his designs with elegance and grace.

“Maraming Salamat sa gumagawa ng aking mga damit, blouse at pants simula pa noong 2007 kung kelan nagsimula din ako manungkulan bilang opisyal ng pamahalaan. Isang napagaling na artist mula Davao City, si Silverio Anglacer. Mabuhay ang disenyong gawa ng mga Pilipino! 💚,” Mayor Sara said on Facebook.

Mayor Sara wore the pink floral outfit when she was a dinner guest of Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia last weekend. Former Senator Bongbong Marcos also joined the social event, getting a chance to bond with the mayor.

Another Silverio couture was worn by the mayor when she held a closed-door meeting with Marcos in Cebu.
