“Bwiset sila!”
Senator Bato Dela Rosa on Sunday slammed critics of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC), saying it didn’t make sense to abolish a successful anti-insurgency body.
“Sabihin ko sa kanila, ito pangit pakinggan eh, pero bwiset sila,” he said in a DZBB radio interview.
“Sabihin ko sa kanila. I-abolish kung kailan naging successful ‘yung ahensya sa paglaban sa terorismo? Paglaban sa insurhensya? I-abolish nila?” Dela Rosa said.
“Ano, puro pamumulitika nalang talaga ang nasa isip nila? Na porke’t nasa oposisyon sila, gusto nila na hindi maging successful itong administrasyong Duterte sa paglaban ng problema ng ating bansa?” he added.
“Gano’n nalang talaga ang utak nila. Bwiset,” Dela Rosa said.
He was asked about what he thought of the proposal to abolish and defund NTF-ELCAC, which was involved in the red-tagging of several individuals, usually government critics.
