Former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo has defended President Duterte from know-it-all critics as the government deals with the coronavirus emergency.
Arroyo, in a latest Facebook post, said it is easy to criticize the President when the critic is not in charge of the situation.
“It is easy for them to be a Monday morning quarterback because they are not the ones in charge,” the former leader said.
Arroyo’s Facebook post has already been deleted a few hours after making it public.
Arroyo has retired from the political scene after ending her three-term stint at the House of Representatives last year. She was elected Pampanga congresswoman after her nine-year stint as the country’s president.
