With her oozing sex appeal, it’s no wonder Ellen Adarna is every man’s fantasy. But before her controversial relationship with actor John Lloyd Cruz, she was linked to two politikos—Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. and Davao City Vice Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte.
Pilipino Star Ngayon columnist Salve Asis revealed Revilla’s supposed attraction to Adarna in her December 10 column and why it fizzled out.
Quoting fellow showbiz scribe Lolit Solis, Asis said Revilla was smitten with Adarna when the actress appeared in the senator’s Metro Manila Film Festival entry,”Si Agimat at Si Enteng Kabisote,” a few years ago.
“Pero na-soplak daw si Sen. Bong noon dahil sinabi diumano ni Ellen na ayaw niya sa may sabit,” Asis said.
The showbiz writer said Duterte’s relationship with the mother of his children, Kate Necessario, was also the reason why Adarna broke up with him.
“Ganito rin daw ang nangyari noon kay Baste Duterte, nang malaman daw ni Ellen na hindi pala ito hiwalay sa girlfriend niya, nakipaghiwalay ang ex ni John Lloyd Cruz sa anak ni President Digong,” Asis said.
Duterte and Adarna were a couple for a few months. President Rodrigo Duterte even joked about his son’s relationship with the actress, saying Baste didn’t go to his own house anymore since he liked to stay at Adarna’s place.
