Despite rising Covid-19 cases, MalacaƱang said the government is unlikely to declare an enhanced community quarantine this month.
“For the month of March, I don’t think it is called for,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a virtual presser Monday.
Roque added that healthcare facilities in the country are now prepared to treat severely ill Covid-19 patients.
The Philippines recorded more than 3,000 new Covid-19 infections for the past three days.
