Heartbreak and gratitude: Agot Isidro shares 3 proud PNoy moments

Actress and singer Agot Isidro is among the multitude grieving over the death of President Benigno Aquino.

The former president passed away on June 24 at the age of 61. His family said he died peacefully of renal failure due to diabetes.

Agot took to Twitter to express grief over the former president’s death and listed down three proud moments in support of Aquino. The list included her participation in Aquino’s filing of candidacy for president and attendance to his 2010 inauguration as the country’s leader.

“My proud PNoy moments:

  • sang during the mass before he filed for his candidacy for presidency.
  • campaigned for him in Tarlac, Nueva Ecija
  • attended his inauguration in Quirino grandstand,” she tweeted.

Agot is open to show the same support for the “right” presidential contender next year.

“And I would do those and much more for the right candidate in 2022. 🇵🇭 #PaalamPNoy,” she said.

When she learned about Aquino’s death, Agot posted a tweet about heartbreak and gratitude.

“So many things running through my head. The loss, the heartbreak, the sense of despair. Yung sayang. Yung pasasalamat din to have witnessed the growth of Philippines under his watch. Yung frustration niya, siguro. Dami…” she said.

“But for now, we grieve. 🇵🇭” she said.

Agot’s online post drew more than 3,000 likes.
