The Filipino youth ruled in the late President Aquino’s communication team.
Former Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda said millennials joined the Aquino administration after graduating from college. These young graduates, he said, were inspired by Aquino’s call to render service to the nation.
“For the record, inspired by PNoy’s urging to join public service, almost all our colleagues were millenials straight out of college,” he said.
Lacierda made the revelation in a latest post on Twitter while sharing photos with their boss PNoy. The photo was taken during Aquino’s visit to the Palace office.
“One of the few times PNoy dropped by our office,” he said, sharing the photo with the former leader.
“@mlq3, @Abi_Valte & I were surprised but he visited to see how we & our ‘munchkins’ were doing,” he said.
Another photo showed the former President and the “munchkins” in the Palace team.
Lacierda commented: “This is the entire OPS-PCDSPO team and as you can see, even PNoy was jovial to see the entire team that he himself did a pose (smiley) He is at the middle right back of the photo. Millenials rule!”
