Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo supports President Rodrigo Duterte’s call for local government units to use technology and advanced approaches to administer the Covid-19 vaccines more quickly.
This, according to Panelo, would prevent vaccine centers from becoming superspreader sites.
“Ang dahilan nun ay para maiwasan ninyo ‘yung pagdating ng mga tao na dagsa pagkatapos magkukumpul-kumpulan sila doon. Mawawalan na naman kayo ng control. At diyan magsisimula ang mga hawaan o transmission,” he said during his commentary show “Counterpoint.”
“Kaya gamitin niyo ‘yung technology, ‘yung advanced process niyo para mapaiksi niyo ang proseso at maging epektibo ang bakunahan,” he added.
Duterte, in his last public address, instructed barangay officials to provide vaccinees cards with numbers and schedule their vaccination.
