Staying fit and healthy is one of the priorities of former Senator JV Ejercito especially during the pandemic.
But the former lawmaker has become concerned about keeping his fitness regime after Metro Manila mayors banned the outdoor exercises during the two-week hard lockdown.
A resolution was passed by the Metro Manila Council prohibiting people from walking, running, biking or doing other morning exercises outdoors while the ECQ is in effect. The capital region stays under lockdown until August 20, 2021.
“My daily routine of jog/walk or biking has been prohibited for now. Tiis muna daw,” he tweeted August 10, 2021.
“But I feel that my daily physical fitness routine is the one that strengthens my immune system and my body. Hay… big problem,” he said.
The Metro Manila mayors issued the ban on outdoor exercises after the new COVID-19 cases continued to surge. It was supposedly meant to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus and keep the public safe and healthy.

But I feel that my daily physical fitness routine is the one that strengthens my immune system and my body.
Hay… big problem.
While I understand the intent of not allowing physical fitness activities outside, just worried that people with comorbidities like diabetes, hypertension, high blood, etc.. like me rely on daily exercises to improve their helath situatoons

Nakakapanghina ito sa mga may kundisyon sa puso at iba pa.
Being outdoors is much safer as long as there is no congregation. https://t.co/nIRFCkjaca
