Malacañang on Monday urged local chief executives not to blame President Rodrigo Duterte for the issue of overcrowding in vaccination centers last August 5.
Duterte had nothing to do with it because his threat to bar unvaccinated people from going outdoors was made July 28, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said.
July 28 pa po,” Roque said in a televised briefing.
Meanwhile, Roque said at least five people are facing charges for spreading false information that unvaccinated people can’t go out for essential trips or get cash aid from the government.
“Sa mga nagpapakalat ng fake news, mahahanap kayo, sasampahan kayo ng kaso, ikukulong kayo,” the secretary also said.
