Roque reacts to Pharmally exec’s admission of face shield tampering: ‘Talk is cheap’

Malacañang on Monday said the recent admission of a Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corp. executive that her company “swindled” the government must be supported by other evidence.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque was reacting to the allegation of Krizle Grace Mago, an incorporator of the company and its regulatory affairs head, that Pharmally sold millions of expired and substandard face shields to the government.

Kinakailangan po kasi yan ma-substantiate,” Roque said in a virtual presser.

“Pwedeng mabili, pupwedeng matakot.

At a Senate hearing on the alleged overpriced Covid-19 supplies Friday, Mago confessed that she ordered Pharmally’s warehouse staff to change the expiration dates on the face shields as per instruction from Pharmally corporate treasurer and secretary Mohit Dargani.
