Inday Sara on possible tandem with Bong Go: ‘No comment’

Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Caprio refused to give a response to her father’s statement that she and Senator Bong Go will run as a tandem in the 2022 national elections.

“No comment,” Duterte-Carpio told POLITIKO in a message.

The local chief executive filed her certificate of candidacy (COC) for reelection Saturday.

In an ambush interview after Go filed his COC for vice president, President Rodrigo Duterte confirmed that Duterte-Carpio would run for president in next year’s election with Go as her running mate.

“Sara-Go na ‘yan,” Duterte said in a video.

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive dropped his bid for vice president and announced his retirement from politics after June 2022.
