Veteran broadcaster Raffy Tulfo is now part of the senatorial lineup of presidential tandem Senators Panfilo Lacson and Tito Sotto in the 2022 elections.
Tulfo, in an interview over ANC’s Headstart, confirmed he accepted Lacson’s offer to join his team of Senate aspirants. The popular broadcaster, who has a large social media following, is currently leading surveys of preferred senatorial contenders.
“Noong Saturday, tinanggap ko ang offer ng kampo Senator Lacson na maging guest candidate nila,” Tulfo told Headstart host Karen Davila.
Tulfo has been earlier included in the senatorial team of Senator Manny Pacquiao.
In the same interview, Tulfo said his inclusion in other senatorial teams is still being ironed out. The broadcaster is willing to join these teams as long as they share the same advocacies.
He said he has already talked to the camp of former Senator Bongbong Marcos on joining his Senate team but the matter is still being threshed out.
