Communications Secretary Martin Andanar urged the public to support their respective local government units (LGUs) by following health and safety protocols against the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
“Let us continue to support our LGU, and President Rodrigo Duterte. We are close to ending the Covid-19 pandemic. The vaccines are already made and these will arrive here starting this week,” Andanar said in a recent radio interview in Dapitan City.
Heeding Covid-19 warnings, according to him, will ensure the protection against the spread of the viral illness.
The chief of the Presidential Communications Operations Office also stressed that the Duterte administration is focused on saving lives, reviving hopes, and shaping the future of the Filipino people as the national government eagerly awaits the arrival of vaccines.
Andanar was in Dapitan City on Wednesday for the rollout of the Pagdu-aw: Explain, Explain, Explain on the roadmap of the National Vaccination Program of the government, which aims to provide an avenue for the vaccination program to be discussed and to address numerous questions about it.
