Malacañang on Tuesday welcomed the United States Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) full approval of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine, saying this will speed up the same approval process in the country.
The full approval of Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine will pave the way for its commercial use, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a virtual presser.
Meanwhile, Roque announced that a total of 362,700 doses of Pfizer vaccine purchased by the Philippine government will arrive in Manila tomorrow, August 24.
Around 3 million Sinovac vaccine doses are also expected to be delivered this week, he added.
