‘Bilis kilos’ tandem: Isko Moreno, Doc Willie Ong to file COCs on Monday

The Isko-Doc Willie presidential tandem will make the candidacies official on Monday, October 4.

Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso announced on Facebook that he and Dr. Willie Ong will submit their certificates of candidacies for the 2022 presidential elections. The actor-turned-politiko will join the presidential race that so fr includes Senators Panfilo Lacson and Manny Pacquiao.

“BUKAS NA! Ako at ang aking partner na si Doc Willie Ong ay pormal na magsusumite ng aming aplikasyon para maging inyong susunod na Pangulo at Pangalawang Pangulo ng ating bansa,” he said on Facebook.

Mayor Isko’s campaign platform centers on swift government action to improve the plight of Filipinos especially during the pandemic. The Isko-Oing tandem, both popular on social media, hails from Tondo, Manila.

“Aming ihahandog sa ating mga kababayan ang BILIS KILOS na programa para sa bawat Pilipino.Pilipinas, God first!” he said.

Domagoso, 46, was elected mayor Manila in 2019 after defeating former President Joseph Estrada. He lost his senatorial bid in 2016.

In 2022, he will gun for the presidency with Ong, a cardiologist widely popular on social media due to his medical mission and health advice, as running mate. Ong ran but lost in the 2019 Senate elections.
